An immediate opportunity has arisen for a sales driven individual who is passionate about health and wellbeing to join an established Hertfordshire based Sports and Leisure complex. This is a busy role with varied daily duties to suit a self-motived individual with a positive attitude. Due to the nature of the business, this role involves working 37.5 hours per week on a shift pattern between 9am – 8pm Monday to Friday with 1 in 3 weekends.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable and successful in all forms of sales contact, including direct and telephone. They will need to be proactive in lead generation, as well as retention and B2C account management
Duties will include;
•Making outbound telephone calls to self-generated leads
•Generating referral schemes
•Touring prospective members of the facility
•Outreach activity at events and networking
•Maximising corporate sales opportunities
•Update and maintain bespoke CRM system to ensure all information is accurately recorded
•As a Membership Sales Advisor you will have:
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•Drive, enthusiasm and a natural competitiveness
•Ability and flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern including early, late, weekend and bank holidays
•An interest in the sports and leisure industry would be advantageous
•Experience in sales/working to targets is advantageous
•Hold a driving licence
•Basic salary £17,000 per annum with OTE earnings of £24,000-£25,000
•20 days holiday + bank holidays
