Senior Management Accountant - Job Overview

As a Senior Management Accountant your duties will include;

• Creating positive working relationships with stakeholders at all levels in partner organisations.
• Statutory budget reporting.
• To attend Senior Leadership meetings on a quarterly basis to present budget updates.
• To be the expert in relation to budgets and providing challenge where necessary.
• To co-ordinate and agree budget contributions with partners at the start of the financial year and agree changes throughout the year.
• Year-end closures.
• Working to strict deadlines to ensure efficient cash flow.
• Line management responsibilities.

Senior Management Accountant - Skills & Experience Required

• Relevant accountancy qualification
• 2-3 years post qualification experience in a similar role
• Experience setting and monitoring large budgets
• Experience working with budget stakeholders at all levels
• Experience working within budgets associated with the NHS or care settings would be advantageous.
