An excellent opportunity has arisen for a detail-focused and proactive Referral and Information Administrator to join a supportive team on a part-time, temporary basis. This is a remote, varied role providing essential administrative support to enable efficient service delivery and effective contract management.
About the Role
As Referral and Information Administrator, you’ll play a key role in administering spot purchase agreements, handling referrals, and managing enquiries. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and providing general administrative support to internal teams, while ensuring timely communication with external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer the end-to-end process for spot purchase agreements, including logging, tracking, and liaising with commissioners
- Maintain accurate records of agreements and associated communications
- Receive and triage enquiries from professionals and commissioners, ensuring correct routing and timely responses
- Process referrals and ensure accurate data entry and documentation
- Maintain and update databases and client records with a high degree of accuracy
- Prepare reports and summaries on spot purchase activity when required
- Support internal teams with administrative tasks related to service delivery and contract management
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth delivery of services
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong administrative skills and excellent attention to detail
- Experience managing service agreements or contracts
- Confident communicator with good call handling and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Understanding of data protection principles
- Positive, flexible attitude and effective team player
Desirable:
- Experience working with commissioners or within health/social care
- NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration (or equivalent experience)
- Customer service or referral handling experience
