An exciting Part -Time Temp to Perm opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join a supportive and professional team. Working 22.5 hours over 5 days this is an immediate start varied role where you’ll provide essential administrative support to the Head of Finance and Business Support, ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations.

About the Role

As General Administrator, you’ll be responsible for managing correspondence, maintaining accurate records, supporting IT and facilities functions, and helping to implement new projects. You’ll play an integral role in ensuring the office runs efficiently and that staff, volunteers, and stakeholders receive excellent support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a tidy and well-organised office environment, including ordering supplies and managing equipment
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including email and post
  • Support record-keeping and data entry to maintain accurate information across systems
  • Provide first-line IT support and liaise with external IT providers to resolve issues
  • Assist with the setup and configuration of hardware/software for new starters and leavers
  • Maintain IT asset and office equipment inventories, ensuring compliance and data security
  • Support facilities tasks including equipment maintenance, repairs, and AV systems
  • Provide reporting and assist in implementing new systems and projects

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a similar administration role (essential)
  • Proactive, problem-solving approach with a positive “can do” attitude
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging with colleagues, volunteers, and stakeholders
  • Confident using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software
  • Strong attention to detail and discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
