An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a highly professional and organised Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support to a Managing Director within a prestigious, forward-thinking organisation.
This is a traditional PA position working in a fast-paced and evolving business environment. You will provide proactive support with diary management, correspondence, meeting preparation and follow-up, minute taking, and general administration. The role also involves working closely with the Head of Office, supporting with wider office coordination tasks.
The successful candidate will be polished, calm under pressure, and able to anticipate the needs of a demanding executive with high standards. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, professional setting, values discretion, and enjoys being the reliable right-hand to senior leadership.
Hertfordshire – On-site
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum + Benefits
Hours: Mon to Fri 8:30am – 5:00pm (Part-time considered minimum 30 hours)
Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive PA support to the Managing Director, managing an ever-changing diary and prioritising commitments effectively
• Prepare meeting agendas, board packs, and take detailed minutes, ensuring follow-up actions are completed
• Screen and manage correspondence, calls, and enquiries with professionalism and discretion
• Conduct research and prepare reports or presentations as required
• Coordinate travel arrangements, events, and hospitality
• Work closely with the Head of Office on HR, H&S, compliance, and operational administration
• Support general office management and oversee smooth day-to-day operations
• Assist in managing relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and suppliers
Skills & Experience Required
• Minimum 5 years’ PA or Executive Assistant experience supporting senior management or C-suite
• Highly organised, with exceptional time management and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with professional presentation
• Confident taking and producing accurate meeting minutes
• Proven ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Resilient, proactive, and adaptable with a calm, professional manner
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Full driving licence and own transport essential
