An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and organised Graduate Administrator to join a leading global engineering company on a 12 month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic entry-level role for a recent graduate looking to start their career in administration, operations, or business support within a professional and technical environment.
About the Role
As a Graduate Administrator, you’ll play an important role in supporting the daily operations of the busy workshop department. You’ll provide a range of administrative and office support tasks, helping to coordinate documentation, manage customer and engineer queries, and ensure smooth communication between teams.
This role offers excellent exposure to business operations and the opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues in a well-structured and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the wider team, including document preparation, filing, and data entry
Open new job processes and update records accurately
Manage timesheets, expenses, and reports for engineers to ensure accurate billing
Organise travel and hotel arrangements for team members
Support with parts coordination when required
Assist with warranty documentation and ensure compliance with company procedures
Handle incoming calls and emails, ensuring queries are directed appropriately
Proactively suggest improvements to administrative systems and processes
Support the Team Manager and wider team with day-to-day office operations
Skills & Experience Required
A recent graduate or some previous office admin experience
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Interest in learning about operations, logistics, or the engineering industry
