A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a confident and capable HR Advisor to join a well-established, growing business within the manufacturing industry. This is a standalone generalist HR role, offering real variety and ownership across all aspects of HR for a close-knit and friendly team.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone experienced in the full HR lifecycle who is looking to take the lead on day-to-day HR activities while supporting the development of policies, engagement, and compliance.

INDSNR
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone experienced in the full HR lifecycle who is looking to take the lead on day-to-day HR activities while supporting the development of policies, engagement, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert support and guidance to managers on employee relations, HR policy and best practice
- Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
- Prepare payroll data for submission to external payroll provider
- Maintain accurate HR records and employee data, including reports on headcount, absence, and turnover
- Support appraisals, reviews, and training coordination
- Mentor and support a HR Administrator
- Work with leadership to develop employee engagement and internal communications
- Ensure legal compliance and best-practice HR processes across the business
Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a generalist HR role and within manufacturing desirable
- CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards)
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
- Experience preparing payroll data and supporting audits/reporting
- High level of attention to detail and confidentiality
- Proactive, hands-on attitude and confident working independently
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with HR/timekeeping systems advantageous
Benefits
- £40,000 – £45,000 salary depending on experience
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays (rising with service to 25 days)
- Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm with a 1pm early finish every Friday
- Hybrid working
