Location: Stevenage – Office-based with some hybrid working available
Salary: £28,000 per annum + Benefits
Hours: Shift-based – includes day and late shifts, with weekend work on a rota basis

As a Customer Support Live Chat Agent, you’ll be responsible for providing professional, efficient, and friendly customer service via live chat and email. You’ll resolve account and product queries, review customer information, and ensure that all communications meet the company’s high standards of accuracy and compliance.

You’ll be working in the Stevenage office with hybrid flexibility following training. The position involves shift work — including both day and late shifts — with occasional weekend cover on a rota basis, providing variety and a great work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer queries via live chat and email
• Deliver clear, compliant, and accurate information to customers at all times
• Investigate and resolve account, payment, and product-related issues efficiently
• Review customer documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Escalate complex cases to the relevant departments as required
• Maintain up-to-date records and follow all internal processes and regulations
• Collaborate with wider operational teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience

About You

• Proven experience in office-based customer service (essential)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills — strong grammar and attention to detail are essential
• Confident managing multiple systems and screens simultaneously
• Highly organised with strong problem-solving abilities
• Flexible and adaptable approach to shift-based working
• Positive, proactive attitude and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer support
