A fantastic opportunity to join a growing and supportive business as a Customer Support Agent on the night shift. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers during out-of-hours periods, providing professional and efficient support via email and live chat. This is a great role for someone with strong written communication skills and previous experience working in an office-based customer service environment.
Location: Stevenage (Office-based with some hybrid flexibility)
Salary: £30,000 per annum + Benefits
Hours: 10:00pm – 7:00am
The Role
Working as part of a small and friendly night team, you’ll handle customer queries, investigate issues, and ensure a smooth customer experience while the rest of the business sleeps! You’ll manage incoming communications, maintain accurate records, and escalate issues when needed — all while keeping calm under pressure and paying close attention to detail.
You’ll be based in the Stevenage office, with the opportunity for some hybrid working once fully trained.
Key Responsibilities
• Respond to customer queries via live chat and email in a timely and professional manner
• Investigate account and payment issues and resolve them efficiently
• Ensure compliance with company processes and regulatory standards
• Manage and update customer records accurately
• Escalate complex or urgent matters to the relevant teams
• Maintain excellent written communication and attention to detail at all time
About You
• Proven office-based customer service experience (essential)
• Confident handling customer enquiries via email and phone
• Excellent English language skills — spelling, grammar, and punctuation will be assessed at interview
• Highly organised with a methodical approach to problem solving
• Able to multitask and work accurately under pressure
• Comfortable working independently on night shifts
• Confident using multiple systems and technology tools
