A well-established Hitchin based organisation have a new opportunity for a conscientious and detail orientated Administrator to join their team on a temp to perm basis. This is a varied role working for a stable business.

Job Overview

As an Administrator your duties will include;

  • Incoming phone calls and post
  • Manage records of all hire equipment throughout all sites
  • Produce invoices and statements for clients
  • Produce CIS statements 
  • Assist the purchasing manager with ordering for site and factory materials
  • Scan in all goods in delivery notes
  • Answer accounts and payroll related queries
  • Breakdown and data entry of all invoices relating to individual projects
  • Breakdown and data entry of timesheets/payroll including expenses for employees and directors
  • Keep record of insurance certificates and making sure all subcontractors insurances are always valid

Skills & Experience Required

  • Able to provide outstanding customer service
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Manufacturing background desirable but not essential
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Experience using Excel
  • Must be able to work on own initiative
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships
  • Able to work to deadlines 

Benefits Offered

  • £29,000 per annum
  • Immediate opportunity with the view to go permanent
  • Monday to Friday 8:30AM – 5:00PM
  • Free onsite parking
