We’re looking for an energetic and customer-focused Outbound Telesales Executive to join a growing internal sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong relationship-building skills who enjoys connecting with customers, uncovering opportunities, and delivering real results.
About the Role
As an Outbound Telesales Executive, you’ll be responsible for engaging with existing and lapsed customers to develop relationships, increase sales, and promote the company’s full product offering. Working closely with the marketing and external sales teams, you’ll follow up on leads, re-engage dormant accounts, and identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell across a range of product categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to existing and lapsed customers to generate new and repeat business
- Build strong relationships and position the company as a trusted supplier
- Reignite dormant accounts by understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions
- Follow up on marketing-generated leads from campaigns, events, and digital enquiries
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell within customer accounts
- Work towards individual sales and activity targets, including call volumes and conversion rates
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions using CRM software
- Collaborate with the wider sales and marketing teams to improve customer engagement and results
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in outbound telesales, internal sales, or account management
- Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong ability to influence, negotiate, and close sales over the phone
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
- Comfortable working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Driven, self-motivated, and resilient with a positive attitude
- Experience in B2B sales, packaging, or logistics industries (advantageous but not essential)
