Warehouse Operative

Are you seeking a stable and rewarding warehouse role within a successful organisation? Our client, based in Letchworth, is looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

About the Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key part in the smooth running of the warehouse, ensuring goods are received, processed, and dispatched efficiently. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the business to maintain high standards of organisation, accuracy, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking, and preparing incoming goods
• Processing orders and maintaining stock records
• Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders accurately
• Carrying out stock checks and inspections of materials
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised warehouse environment
• Supporting wider warehouse operations as required

Skills & Experience

• Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred
• Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
• Physically fit and comfortable handling heavy boxes
• Basic IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) beneficial
• Minimum GCSE level education or equivalent
