Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Customer Support Agent to join their growing team in Stevenage. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, tech-led environment, enjoys working across multiple platforms, and wants to play a key role in delivering exceptional support to customers.
Customer Support Agent – Role Overview
As a Customer Support Agent, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality support through live chat and email. You’ll need to be confident in using multiple systems, asking the right questions, and identifying the root cause of issues quickly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle customer queries via live chat and email
- Navigate multiple internal systems to investigate and resolve issues
- Review customer documentation and escalate when necessary to Operations
- Maintain quality and compliance with internal policies and financial services regulations
- Support wider customer service operations with an investigative and detail-driven approach
Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years’ customer service experience, preferably in a regulated environment
- Strong attention to detail and a naturally investigative mindset
- Comfortable navigating and working across multiple digital systems
- Excellent written communication and multitasking skills
- Fast and accurate typing for managing multiple live chats simultaneously
- A proactive approach to problem solving and improving customer experience
