Family-orientated, growing business on the outskirts of Royston are looking for a Customer Service Executive to join their team! This is a great opportunity for someone with previous customer service and sales administration experience to develop their career.

Customer Service Executive – Job Overview

As a Customer Service Executive, you will play a key role in supporting the sales team and liaising closely with operations. The role is a 50/50 split between handling incoming customer communications (calls and emails) and sales order processing/administration.

  • Handling incoming calls and acting as the first point of contact for customer enquiries
  • Managing inbound emails and responding in a timely, professional manner
  • Liaising with operations to coordinate quotations and delivery timescales
  • Preparing and providing customer quotations directly by phone for certain product lines
  • Following up on quotations by telephone and email
  • Processing customer orders using the Sage accounts system
  • Preparing all information required for production
  • Managing logistics, including international freight
  • Responding to basic technical product queries
  • General office and administrative support duties

Customer Service Executive – Skills and Experience Required

  • Previous office-based customer service or sales administration experience is essential
  • Confident and professional telephone manner
  • Ability to type while speaking on the phone
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organised, reactive and able to multitask efficiently
  • Bubbly personality with a proactive attitude
  • Sales order processing (SOP) experience is advantageous

Customer Service Executive – Benefits Offered
