Are you looking to kick-start or grow your IT career in a hands-on support role? We are currently recruiting for a 1st Line IT Support Engineer to provide on-site and remote support, ensuring technology runs smoothly and classrooms stay connected.

About the Role

As a 1st Line IT Support Engineer, you’ll rotate between sites, supporting staff with day-to-day IT issues, setting up devices, and assisting with wider projects such as Wi-Fi, network and Cloud deployments. You’ll build strong relationships with users while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • First-line ownership of IT support tickets – triage, resolve or escalate as required

  • Provide on-site and remote support for Windows, iOS and Google devices

  • Build, configure and deploy laptops, tablets and workstations

  • User administration within Microsoft 365 (mailboxes, licences, troubleshooting)

  • Troubleshoot AV equipment including interactive boards, projectors and smart TVs

  • Support network, Wi-Fi and Cloud deployments during school holiday periods

  • Keep users updated on ticket progress and contribute to internal documentation

About You 

  • Foundation knowledge of Windows, iOS, Google devices, Microsoft 365 and wireless technologies

  • Previous IT support experience advantageous but not essential)

  • Full UK driving licence with ability to travel between sites essential 

  • Proactive and organised with excellent communication skills

  • Strong troubleshooting approach and able to work independently as well as within a team

  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop within a customer-focused environment
