An excellent opportunity has arisen for a proactive and detail-focused Senior Sales Support professional to join a friendly and collaborative office-based team in Welwyn Garden City. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in sales administration or order processing who is ready to take on more responsibility and contribute to the smooth running of daily operations.

You’ll play a key role in coordinating customer orders, liaising with internal teams and suppliers, and supporting documentation and logistics. You will also assist with the development of processes and the day-to-day support of colleagues within the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process sales and purchase orders with accuracy and efficiency
  • Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure timely order fulfilment
  • Communicate with customers by phone and email, handling queries and providing regular updates
  • Coordinate delivery logistics and documentation, including dispatch notes and confirmations
  • Book couriers and manage tracking and shipping paperwork
  • Support the wider team with process improvements and documentation updates
  • Help onboard and support new team members where needed
  • Maintain up-to-date and organised records, ensuring accuracy across all administrative tasks
  • Proactively flag and resolve potential delays or discrepancies in orders

Skills and Experience Required

  • Proven experience in a sales support, order processing, or customer service administration role
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident using systems for order entry and tracking
  • Organised, proactive, and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • A collaborative team player with a problem-solving mindset
