Procurement Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to join a forward-thinking and collaborative business during a time of transformation and growth. This is a key leadership role where you'll be responsible for shaping and delivering procurement strategy, improving cross-functional coordination, and driving supplier performance.

This role would suit a commercially minded procurement professional who enjoys a mix of hands-on leadership and strategic influence, and who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the procurement function, aligning purchasing activities with broader business goals
• Oversee supplier selection, negotiations, and performance management
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure procurement supports customer demand and operational efficiency
• Monitor market trends, mitigate supply chain risks, and build strong supplier relationships
• Drive continuous improvement across procurement processes and systems
• Manage team performance and promote a culture of openness, accountability, and development
• Ensure full compliance with policies, processes, and external regulations
• Maintain procurement records and KPIs to inform decision-making

Skills and Experience Required

• Proven experience in a senior purchasing or procurement role
• Strong understanding of supply chain operations and ERP systems
• Confident negotiator with excellent communication and leadership skills
• Able to build effective relationships across teams and with external partners
• Strategic thinker with a data-driven and solutions-focused approach 

Benefits

• £45,000 - £50,000 dependant on experience
