Key Responsibilities
Lead the procurement function, aligning purchasing strategy with overall business objectives
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships within the electronics sector
Source and manage suppliers for electronic components, ensuring competitive pricing and lead times
Negotiate terms and oversee supplier performance to ensure quality and reliability
Monitor market trends, supply chain risks, and cost-saving opportunities
Lead ERP system use within procurement and ensure accurate data management
Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, reporting, and efficiency
Manage team performance and promote a culture of openness, accountability, and development
Contribute to leadership discussions and support wider operational strategy
Skills and Experience Required
Proven experience in a senior procurement or purchasing role within electronics manufacturing
Established network of electronic component suppliers and industry knowledge
Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen
Solid understanding of supply chain planning, inventory management, and ERP systems
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Highly organised, data-driven and results-focused
