Our client, a new company to the local area, is looking to recruit an additional team member to join their sales team, concentrated on new business. This is a great opportunity for an experienced sales candidate with drive and independence, to make the role their own and join a growing company at an exciting time.

New Business Advisor - Job Overview

Working as part of a successful new business team within a growing department your main duties will include;

  • Generating leads and contacting potential customers to sell an insurance solution
  • Using your experience and initiative to think outside the box and approach potential customers through different avenues
  • Making a high volume of outbound calls daily
  • Offering a consultative service to potential and existing customers
  • Attending client visits
  • Producing competitive quotes, chasing quotes produced
  • Working to weekly targets

New Business Advisor - Skills and Experience Required

  • Previous consultative sales experience in a targeted environment is essential
  • Ambitious, tenacious, driven and determined personality
  • Confident closing a sale and working within a target orientated environment
  • Insurance based experience is beneficial
  • Good written communication skills, both written and verbal
