An immediate opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Administrator on a temporary basis based in Stevenage.

Marketing Administrator - Job Overview

As a Marketing Administrator your duties will include:

  • Media management
  • Assisting with events
  • Creating and scheduling social media posts, using Hootsuite as directed by the marketing officer           
  • Using InDesign to make text edits to existing documents and templated designs– this would be at the direction of the senior designer
  • Edit web pages
  • Verifying e-mail lists for e-mails sent in house
  • Updating the comms plan and communicating scheduled appeals and external communications to the supporter services team
  • Researching local news outlets for crew story pitching
  • Other administrative tasks to support the marketing team as directed by the Head of Marketing

Marketing Administrator - Skills & Experience Required

  • Confident communication skills along with the ability to build rapport with staff at varying levels is essential
  • Looking for a candidate with a creative flare, ideally with a degree in Marketing or similar
  • Clear telephone communication skills
  • Ability to manage a rapidly changing workload
  • Good MS Excel skills
  • Understanding of InDesign and WordPress advantageous but not essential
