Due to a recent contract win we are now recruiting an experienced Data Analyst to join our growing, progressive client based in Stevenage.  You’ll have full autonomy for the role which will play a pivotal role in managing the relationship between the business and their client, turning data into tangible information that will be used to provide key insight in the professional delivery of a major contract.

Data Analyst - Job Overview

As a Data Analyst your duties will include;

  • Taking ownership of all daily reporting and forecasting for large, national contract analysing complex data sets
  • Provide analysis of performance against agreed targets, with the ability to identify trends/extreme circumstances so that appropriate and timely actions can be taken, avoiding contractual penalties
  • Ability to drawdown on media, summarise relevant events to support data trends
  • Analyse and record contract performance against set criteria, reporting to external regulators in line with contractual requirements
  • Ability to deal with large, raw data sets to use within reports, identifying key information for specific stakeholder groups
  • Reporting on all contact centre activity ranging from calls taken to call resolution
  • Assisting with the planning of resource internally based on data analysis
  • Devise data management strategy used to deliver role priorities
  • Retrieve data from several data sources; maintaining statistical records
  • Define, create and maintain internal reports relating to contractual SLA’s strengthening reporting capabilities
  • Communicate findings internally ensuring key board members are kept informed of issues requiring attention
  • Completion of projects as set by senior leadership team


Data Analyst - Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience supporting in a similar role, compiling, analysing and presenting diverse information taken from several sources
  • Contact Centre data analysis experience desirable
  • Confident researching industry specific news/events; collating data relevant to role
  • Ability to deliver multiple tasks efficiently
  • Ability to prioritise and work autonomously
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform well under pressure
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail essential
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced user of Microsoft systems specifically Microsoft Excel
  • Capability to learn and utilise specific inhouse systems
