Job Description

Duties will include

Weekly and monthly payroll input and calculations
Managing Pension deductions and contributions
Managing all Pension correspondence
Creation of sales invoices
Analysis of weekly sales figures and ratios using Excel
Producing Customer Statements and handling invoice queries
Credit Control and the ongoing reduction in debtor days in accordance with targets
Allocation of receipts to customer accounts
Reconciliation of Bank Accounts
Producing VAT returns on a quarterly basis
Quarterly PAYE returns to HMRC


Required Skills

Experience of Sage Payroll and Sage Line 50 Accounts
Confident user of Excel to an advanced level
Accurate and methodical
Experience of bookkeeping for a small or medium sized business
Polite, confident, professional telephone manner
Happy to work as part of a busy, lively, fun and fast-paced environment!
Previous experience of a weekly payroll with regular starters and leavers would be preferred but is not essential
