FREE EVENT - Employment Law Update, April 2026

Staying ahead of upcoming employment law changes isn’t optional in 2026 – it’s essential.

This session is designed specifically for HR professionals and business owners who want to stay compliant, be proactive, and – let’s be honest – avoid nasty surprises in 2026 and beyond.

What’s on the agenda?
We’re thrilled to welcome back Alix Beese from BP Collins.  Alix is a partner and employment law specialist and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.  He provides responsive legal advice on a range of employment law issues including complex Employment Tribunal litigation, supporting clients with employee relations issues, drafting employment documentation and advising on TUPE processes.

For those who have attended before you will be aware that Alix’s recent sessions have focussed on the significant and far-reaching changes proposed as part of the Employment Rights Act 2025. During this seminar we will be covering:

  • An update on the Employment Rights Act 2025- In particular the Government has published an updated implementation roadmap for the Employment Rights Act 2025. We will review the timeline and what it means for employers.
  • We will focus on the changes to ordinary unfair dismissal protections and the changes that businesses need to make now to mitigate associated risks.
  • We will also discuss the ongoing consultation on “fire and rehire” and what changes to expenses, benefits, and shift patterns are anticipated to fall within the new protections- signalling a potential softening of the proposed law for employers compared with earlier proposals.

Whether you’re responsible for people strategy or compliance (or both), this is a golden opportunity to get clarity, ask questions, and connect with your peers.
